The Director will be responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, implementing quality improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Provide leadership and direction to the Medical-Surgical nursing team, including nurse managers, staff nurses, and support staff. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. Collaborate with physicians, anaesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans and ensure optimal outcomes. Monitor patient flow, staffing levels, and resource utilization to maintain adequate coverage and efficiency. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and quality improvement initiatives. Candidate requirements Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Healthcare Administration preferred. Current RN licensure in the state of Virginia. Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a Medical-Surgical setting. Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of Med-Surg nursing practices, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement principles. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
