About The Role

We are looking for a strategic, hands-on Director Of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to build the FP&A function from the ground up. As our first dedicated FP&A leader, you'll play a critical role in shaping the financial future of the company, guiding us toward our next milestone: $100M ARR and beyond.

You'll partner closely with the CEO, CFO, CSO, and cross-functional leadership to deliver data-driven insights, drive operational efficiency, and support strategic initiatives. This is a high-impact role with significant visibility, including regular engagement with our investors and board. Over time, the scope of this role may expand in line with company growth.

What You Will Do

Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts across all departments.
  • Develop dynamic, scenario-based financial models covering revenue, headcount, and operational expenses.
  • Build and maintain long-term (3+ year) strategic models to support growth planning and investment decisions.
  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor to executive leadership on forecasting, capital allocation, and strategic trade-offs.

Financial Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Create board-ready reporting packages, investor presentations, and performance reviews.
  • Analyze SaaS KPIs and business drivers, identifying risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.
  • Deliver tailored financial dashboards and decision-support tools for various stakeholders.
  • Lead profitability, pricing, and ROI analysis for new products, geographies, and strategic initiatives.

Systems, Tools & Process Optimization

  • Partner with Accounting to align management reporting, dashboards, and GAAP financials.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance forecasting, scenario planning, and reporting speed.
  • Establish a scalable cadence of financial reviews, planning cycles, and business rhythm processes.

What You Will Bring

  • 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance, preferably in high-growth SaaS or subscription-based businesses.
  • Proven track record of building FP&A functions from scratch or scaling them in complex, multi-entity, multi-currency environments.
  • Deep knowledge of SaaS metrics such as NRR, CAC, LTV, churn, gross margin, and payback periods.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel and/or financial planning tools (e.g. SAP BI, Anaplan, Adaptive, Mosaic, or similar).
  • Experience partnering with C-level executives, with excellent interpersonal, communication, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong business judgment, able to zoom between strategic thinking and detailed analysis.
  • Proactive, self-starter mindset, comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environments.
  • Experience improving or implementing FP&A systems and financial infrastructure is highly valued.
