A Day in the Life of the Outcomes Engineering Executive As an Outcomes Engineering Executive, you'll play a critical leadership role by guiding multiple forward-deployed teams that work directly with state and federal agencies. Your mission? Ensure that public programs like Medicaid, SNAP, WIC, and TANF deliver measurable, positive outcomes using our client’s modular tech platform. You’ll serve as the executive sponsor on government contracts, steering large-scale implementations and aligning stakeholders toward long-term impact.
Responsibilities include: Lead and mentor multiple cross-functional teams (developers, designers, QA, customer success) Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and mission focus Build strong relationships with senior government officials Navigate political and organizational structures to move projects forward Represent the company at conferences and public events Oversee deployment of tech solutions aligned to government policy goals Troubleshoot project challenges and ensure on-time delivery Track and report key performance outcomes Develop deep domain knowledge in public benefit programs and evolving policy landscapes Design solutions that fully leverage the company’s composable platform Act as a strategic advisor to agency leaders Identify opportunities for growth and expanded collaboration
Requirements and Qualifications: 8+ years of experience leading customer-facing programs or large-scale technology deployments Background in enterprise software, consulting, or the public sector Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time Ability to navigate political and organizational challenges with ease Strong grasp of modern software systems and deployment methodologies Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Experienced in managing multiple cross-functional teams Deep passion for transforming public health and human services
