Responsibilities Manages all hospital activities related to the Infection Prevention and Control Program, including educational program development, consultation to departments of matters of infection control, and ensuring ongoing organizational compliance with regulatory agency protocols. Demonstrates excellent Service Excellence skills at all times. Oversees the Infection Prevention Coordinator and Infection Prevention Data Analyst. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Microbiology, or related science. Master’s preferred in Nursing, Education, Epidemiology, or related field.

Experience: 3 to 5 years’ experience in infection prevention.

Special Training: APIC Basic IC Course and Certification preparation course.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Certification in Infection Control (CIC).
