About the Team

The Legal, Risk & Compliance (LRC) team safeguards operations and ensures compliance.

What you'll do

As Director of Fraud Risk, you will shape and lead fraud risk management strategy globally, establish incident reporting, collaborate with regulators, drive policy initiatives, and enhance prevention measures.

Responsibilities

• Standardize fraud incident reporting across regions.
• Collaborate with regulators and law enforcement.
• Develop and implement account fraud policies (IDV, KYC).
• Continuously evaluate and enhance fraud prevention measures.
• Oversee risk controls and procedures of 1st Line of Defence.
• Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve effectiveness.
• Work with internal teams to mitigate new fraud risks.
• Engage senior leadership to present risk trends.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years of fraud risk management experience in financial sector.
• Proven experience in fintech, banking or payment industries.
• Deep understanding of global regulatory environments.
• Strong experience developing fraud policies and risk controls.
• Experience collaborating with law enforcement and regulators.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze emerging fraud threats.
• Excellent communication skills and internal collaboration.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem solving.
• Ability to work in fast‑paced global environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in business, finance, law or related field.
• Certification in fraud prevention (CFE, CAMS).
• Experience working in high‑risk geographies.
• Hands‑on experience building fraud risk programs at scale.
• Experience with advanced data analytics or machine learning.

$180,000 - $280,000
