Salary Range
The hiring target for this position is $126,000 to $140,000 per year. The full salary range for this position is $124,372 to $186,558 annually.

Job Description
The Director, Finance leads and sets the long-term strategy for a team of finance, accounting, and payroll professionals to ensure the company’s financial stability and growth. This people leader is a subject matter expert on all things Financial Planning & Analysis and Accounting Operations, including Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. The Director forges strong relationships with executive leadership by listening, understanding needs, defining shared objectives, proactively consulting, and collaborating to meet organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership for all Accounting Operations, including Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and FP&A functions.
Direct oversight of the Accounts Payable Department, including management of the A/P team and ensuring timely, accurate processing and reporting.
Direct oversight of the Accounts Receivable function, including monitoring collections, aging reports, and optimizing cash flow.
Direct oversite of the corporate Payroll Department and provide guidance to the station-level administrative teams to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing.
Lead the FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Review monthly divisional financial and metric performance with President and Executive team to identify key variances, trends and potential issues that may impact financial performance.
Ensures timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing, forecasting, and reporting processes.
Conduct regular ad-hoc analysis; including cash flow, pro-forma, return on invested capital, etc to support strategic direction.
Owner of creation and submission of annual reports, audits, and renewal processes.
Dives deeper into variances and trends to understand underlying drivers (root cause) and help drive structural fixes and realignment of cost trajectory.
Establish and oversee processes and controls for data accuracy and maintenance in Accounting & Payroll systems (ADP, databases, etc.).
Develop team capabilities through coaching, mentoring, and by providing regular and meaningful feedback.

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, economics or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
8+ years of financial planning and analysis, or related (e.g. accounting, auditing, other analytical disciplines) experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with at least 3 years in a strategic leadership role.
The ability to analyze complex data, summarize concisely, and make meaningful and timely recommendations.
Strong command of Microsoft Office
Excellent Excel skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Deep experience designing and managing complex processes and projects.
Proven change management skills and a thirst for applying research and best practices to existing business problems.
Excellent strategy, organizational, interpersonal, leadership and customer service skills.
Professional work ethic and demonstrated ability to work with all work groups while addressing people directly.
Ability to lead and successfully communicate with a diverse workgroup and other internal departments.
Flexibility to support travel (approximately 10%) required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred:
Aviation, Transportation, or related industry experience
