Position Summary: The Director of True Lacrosse is a leadership position responsible for overseeing the development and execution of all lacrosse programming within a specific region or state. This individual will lead strategic growth, manage staff and coaches, foster player and parent relationships, and ensure a high standard of training, communication, and operational execution. Key Responsibilities: Program Leadership & Management Oversee and execute all club team operations including tryouts, team selection, scheduling, training, and tournament play. Lead and mentor coaching staff to ensure player development, safety, and adherence to True Lacrosse coaching standards. Develop and manage local seasonal programming, clinics, leagues, camps, and lessons. Build and maintain a positive culture that aligns with the mission and values of True Lacrosse. Recruitment & Development Recruit, train, and supervise qualified coaches and support staff. Provide recruiting guidance and support to high school athletes and families navigating the college lacrosse process. Serve as a visible and present leader in the community, engaging with families, athletes, and local stakeholders. Business Development & Growth Drive player and team growth through community outreach, partnerships, and relationship-building. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote programs and increase brand presence in the region. Analyze local market trends and competitor offerings to adapt and innovate programming. Meet or exceed participation, retention, and revenue goals. Operations & Administration Oversee facility rentals, budgeting, registration processes, and customer service needs. Communicate regularly and clearly with parents, players, coaches, and regional/national leadership. Monitor program quality, ensuring safety, competitiveness, and professionalism. Qualifications: Extensive lacrosse experience as a coach and/or player (collegiate or professional level preferred). Proven leadership and management skills in sports or business operations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for mentoring young athletes. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with professionalism and attention to detail. Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to grow True Lacrosses presence in the community.
