Responsibilities oo uescnptionJob Details Title: Director Behavioral Health Systems JD ID: 892 FLSA Classification: Exempt Created Date: 4/27/18 Job Summary The Director of Behavioral Health Systems is focused on the oversight and strategic management of operations in their assigned department(s). This position requires 24 hours/day 7 days/week responsibility. S/he will provide leadership to ensure quality initiatives; customer service and fiscal responsibility are achieved and maintained in the department. S/he functions across the healthcare continuum, interacting and collaborating with other professionals to facilitate optimal outcomes. Meets the requirements of outside agencies to maintain certification, licensure: AZDHS, EMTALA, and other certifying agencies at local, state and federal levels, as deemed appropriate to assigned departments. Essential Job Functions Leadership/Management* Accountable for daily staffing, and assures patient needs are met with highest quality.* Leading short and long-term strategic initiatives, specific to department director oversees.* Accountable for oversight of daily operations - resources, compliance, service, quality (people/equipment).* Demonstrates consistent critical thinking.
