The Position
Cambria Solutions is seeking a director with demonstrated experience in leading, managing, and delivering on large Systems Integration (SI) projects. In this role the individual will be responsible for delivery and oversight on one or multiple SI projects for our public sector clients. Successful candidates must know how to lead, manage, and mentor project delivery teams through all the SDLC phases (from planning through implementation and into M&O). The director needs to be a strategic thinker, but also help making tactical decision and jump in where help is needed. The director reports to Cambria’s Growth team. Project Delivery : –Lead large government technology projects through all life-cycle phases. –Manage large, mid, and multiple small management consulting and systems integration projects. –Monitor and manage projects’ staffing, margin, revenue, expenditures, and other key performance indicators across the projects. –Organize and delivery and do-the-right-thing by Cambria’s clients. –Provide creative and innovative solutions and deliver on scope, schedule, and within budget. People Development : –Provide leadership across project teams. –Mentor project leaders within the business unit on project delivery and sales. –Create high performing teams through trust, coaching, and empowerment. –Be a proven self-starter bringing passion and enthusiasm to the team. Firm Initiatives : –Collaborate with internal and external technology leaders to stay abreast of trends in products and solutions applicable to Cambria’s customers. –Understand modern technology solutions, including agile, cloud, platform, and AI. –Support business development and sales initiatives Position Requirements/ Competencies 15+ year of SI leadership experience and a strong technical acumen. A strong understanding of systems implementation and organizational change. Have demonstrated experience in delivering project of $25m in revenue through their full SDLC. Team player willingness to engage and foster collaboration with Cambria team members. Experience and comfort level with fast paced, high growth company. Track record of consistent and consistent successful project delivery. Excellent leadership and communications skills with an ability to create high performing teams through trust, coaching, mentoring, and empower people. Sound decision making and critical thinking skills. Ability to effectively communicate and facilitate strategy and resolution discussion problem at all levels of the organization. Excellent writing and communication skills with equal ability to talk to senior executives, partners, and customers. Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Possess strong interpersonal communication skills, being self-aware and humble.
