Job Description AECOM is seeking a Senior Program Manager - Deputy Assistant Director of Strategic Delivery based in Sacramento, CA or Fresno, CA . Job Summary: This individual will support the Strategic Delivery team by developing the project delivery framework and establishing an integrated strategy for project execution through engineering, environmental, and preconstruction procurement phases. The role includes oversight and management of consultant teams responsible for preliminary engineering, environmental documents, and project development within the high-speed rail program. Job Responsibilities: Support the development of the overall program delivery framework, including strategic planning, policy setting, project planning, and key delivery strategies from conception to revenue service. Assist in establishing an integrated strategy for project delivery across engineering, environmental, and preconstruction phases. Provide oversight and management of consultant teams working on preliminary engineering, environmental documentation, and project development. Advise executives on strategic matters to ensure timely decision-making regarding permitting and construction compliance. Coordinate with other departments such as Program Delivery, Safety & Security, Operations, Engineering Services, Environmental Services, Real Property, and Planning & Sustainability, incorporating their input into project phases. Minimum Requirements: BA/BS degree and 10 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in leadership roles, or equivalent experience/education. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field. 14+ years managing infrastructure projects of similar scope and complexity, including major high-speed rail projects. Professional Civil Engineer license in California. Experience in senior engineering and project management roles in high-speed rail. Deep understanding of high-speed rail technologies, principles, and regulatory processes in California. Strong organizational skills, innovative problem-solving ability, and adaptability to changing priorities.
