Role Overview

The Commercial Director will be responsible for launching and scaling Red Tiger Marketing’s commercial presence in the United States. This role requires a seasoned leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of identifying market opportunities, forging high-value partnerships, and driving sustainable revenue growth. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, supported by our global leadership team, and will play a critical role in establishing Red Tiger Marketing as a trusted partner to sports and entertainment organisations across the U.S. and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

Market Entry & Executive Leadership

  • Lead the launch and long-term development of Red Tiger Marketing’s U.S. operations, establishing a strong market presence and organisational foundation.
  • Serve as the senior-most representative of the company in the U.S., embodying its values and vision while driving strategic decision-making.

Strategic Growth & Business Development

  • Architect and execute a robust go-to-market strategy tailored to the unique dynamics of the U.S. sports and entertainment landscape.
  • Cultivate high-value partnerships with major sports leagues, teams, entertainment entities, and media platforms to unlock scalable revenue opportunities.

Commercial Ownership & Financial Stewardship

  • Hold full P&L accountability for the U.S. business, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Implement rigorous financial controls and performance metrics to drive operational excellence.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and nurture trusted relationships with C-suite executives, rights holders, and strategic partners, positioning Red Tiger Marketing as a premier industry leader.
  • Act as a key spokesperson and thought leader, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and media engagements.

Organisational Development & Talent Leadership

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-impact cross-functional team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
  • Establish scalable organisational structures and processes to support rapid growth and evolving business needs.

Cross-Functional Integration & Global Alignment

  • Collaborate closely with global teams across marketing, strategy, and technology to ensure strategic alignment and maximise market impact.
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback to inform global strategy and product development

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years’ experience in sales leadership
  • Demonstrated success in launching new markets, products, or divisions.
  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with a track record of delivering revenue growth.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.
  • A can-do attitude – an individual that sees solutions to problems
  • International experience is ideal
