Nitty Gritty
You’re going to be calling on your extensive knowledge of design, tech, branding and the digital space to identify and pursue new areas of growth to develop a mightily robust opportunity pipeline and hit annual new-business targets that you help set. The activities over which you’ll hold sway will thus be vast and glorious: industry analysis, target profiling, prospecting, writing and responding to proposals, pitching, closing, contract negotiation, and handoff to teams. While there’s clearly a ton of high-level strategy work involved (setting targets, assessing the quality of inbound opportunities, sniffing out growth areas, etc.), you’ll also nestle down into the weeds to carry some of this off: content creation, gathering input from colleagues, handling logistics around pitch meetings, and so on. In short, you’ll be calling on all your internal resources and experiences to keep the pedal to the metal, keep the company growing and expanding in the smartest ways possible.
