This role is designed for a senior-level professional with the presence, network, and experience to engage executive leaders and win complex consulting engagements related to operational transformation, supply chain optimization, and cost takeout initiatives.This is not a traditional account management role, it's a high-performance business development position targeting $500K+ consulting engagements within capital- and asset-intensive industries.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive new business growth within target sectors: Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, Heavy Equipment, and Consumer Product ManufacturingIdentify and build relationships with C-level decision makers at mid-market to Fortune 1000 manufacturersPosition the firm’s consulting services across procurement, logistics, operations, and performance improvementLead opportunity pursuit from lead identification through to contract closureCollaborate closely with internal solution teams to ensure alignment between client needs and delivery capabilitiesRepresent the firm with credibility and confidence at the executive levelQualificationsMinimum 10 years’ experience selling consulting or transformation services into industrial environmentsDemonstrated success closing multi-million-dollar deals in the manufacturing or engineering sectorsStrong understanding of supply chain, operations, procurement, or lean manufacturingAbility to influence and communicate with executives, plant leaders, and procurement stakeholders alikeExperience working within a smaller or mid-sized consulting firm is highly preferredExecutive presence, strong strategic thinking, and a disciplined hunter mindsetBachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferredThis is a unique opportunity for a seasoned executive with strong industrial roots to join a well-respected consulting firm and shape growth in a critical sector.
