This position is responsible for the development of new and existing business for all lines of business within the Cyber & Professional Lines Group. Primary duties include identifying business opportunities, identifying, building and maintaining successful relationships with prospects and existing clients, collaborating with VP, Business Development and/or executives on business strategy to determine objectives, evaluating current business performance and maximizing reach and potential.
Key Responsibilities Relying on extensive knowledge and advanced leadership skills, this role is accountable for the following responsibilities: Responsible for managing broker/agent relationships, meeting key performance indicators and identifying, as well as developing new business by marketing within assigned territory. Foster additional business opportunities through business travel, virtual meetings, conferences and industry events. Develop in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities and remains current and familiar on all company products. Help build long-term relationships between TMHCC underwriters and broker partners through setting up virtual and in person meeting and introductions. Conduct broker and agent training using webinars and other web conferencing utilities. Tracks, reports and maintains database of current and prospective contacts, marketing campaigns, opportunities and outreach activities in Salesforce or other CRM tools. Work with the marketing team to develop, adapt and implement specific marketing strategies and materials for new, warm or cold prospects. Also creates campaigns based on market research/intel. Ensure sound working relationships with clients and other company departments by acting as the point of contact Position Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements 4 years bachelor's degree preferred 10 years of relevant and progressive insurance industry business development. Wholesale and/or retail existing book of business preferred.
