Associate Director of Technology The Associate Director, Technology ensures the effective and efficient delivery on CJPs technology vision. The Associate Director uses advanced agile process management, technical knowledge, and communication skills to bridge between organizational needs and technical solutions while promoting best practices, fostering innovation, and driving continuous improvement. This role has a primary focus on agile solution development and delivery with key components of team mentoring and management, process automation and improvement, system implementation, configuration, and administration, and metrics development and reporting. Demonstrated experience delivering value through agile project management techniques (e.g. Kanban, Scrum)
Proven ability to collaboratively lead cross-functional teams to realize shared goals
Confidence in facilitating planning and execution of both operational and project work
Facilitate ceremonies including planning sessions, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives tailored to organizational and team needs
Prioritize project and operational work
Proactively identify any project risks or issues and escalate them when appropriate
Mentor and guide team members on agile practices and principles
Operations Own day-to-day operations of technology services managing solution engineering, data design, testing, and integration in alignment with organization goals and in compliance with information security policies and procedures
Ensure high-quality data assets are developed, measured, and maintained
Manage staff with a focus on goals
Provide hands-on delivery of components of CJPs technology and service offerings
Coordinate internal resources and work with third party vendors
Provide user support and training on a variety of tools throughout the organization
Metrics Develop and maintain key performance indicators for technology projects and operations
Contribute to the organizational desire to be a data-informed culture

Organizational Relationships/Scope: Reports to VP, Technology. Direct reports as assigned. CJP is not able to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Requirements Education: Bachelors degree in software engineering, project management, business analytics, data, technical, or non-profit field, or equivalent experience and training
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of related experience working in a technology function with non-profit, fundraising, or similar environment preferred
Staff management experience preferred
Experience implementing systems, onboarding technology, process mapping, and agile project management
Experience implementing, administering, and supporting enterprise technology software in a SaaS model (e.g. CRM, Financial, HRIS)
Skills/Competencies: Agile project management (e.g. Kanban, Scrum)
Understanding of the aspects and importance of process management and data governance
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
Attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Ability to demonstrate caring, creativity, insight, flexibility, and strong collaboration skills in building partnerships across the organization; excellent intrapersonal skills
Ability to manage confidential information sensitively and appropriately
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changes and shifting prioritiesAbility to work overtime during periods of peak demand and time critical projects
