What We’re Looking For : We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Catering. This role is a highly visible, senior-level position responsible for booking and servicing Catering business to meet revenue goals and developing strategies to grow Catering business.

What You’ll Be Doing :
Promptly reply to incoming leads
Prospect and sell local Catering business and coordinate sales efforts of Catering Sales Managers
Participate in daily business review meetings, pre-convention meetings, training, and other catering sales meetings
Develop customized Site Visit experiences to support business conversion
Plan, coordinate, and service all booked Catering events
Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create tailored menus and Wedding Packages
Partner with DOME on training for Catering Managers
Develop annual Catering Sales strategies with DOME to retain and grow business
Host or participate in local events to attract new business
Analyze sales performance and financial results to refine strategy
Work with the Brand team and Corporate Catering Director on creative Sales and Marketing opportunities
Execute catering sales agreements, oversee client tastings, and communicate details to operational departments
Research the competitive catering environment
Maintain and optimize 3rd party website presence with Brand and PR teams
Assist in research and preparation of yearly Catering budgets
Support Catering Managers in setting and achieving personal objectives
Block space effectively in Delphi to maximize revenues
Distribute necessary documents for operations
Forecast group revenue spend
Coordinate pre- and post-convention meetings
Encourage rebooking and gather client feedback
Partner with Financial Services for credit and billing processes
Attend all relevant meetings and work on special projects as assigned
Your Experience Includes :
Minimum five years of Catering Sales experience in a full-service hotel with proven success
Certified Meeting Planner, Certified Professional in Catering and Events, or similar preferred
Extensive knowledge of hotel support departments
Delphi experience preferred
Experience with Diagram Writing Software like Social Tables preferred
Property Management System knowledge preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
