What We're Looking For : We seek an experienced Associate Director of Catering. This senior role is responsible for booking and servicing catering business to meet revenue goals and developing strategies to grow the catering business.

What You'll Be Doing :
Respond promptly to incoming leads
Prospect and sell local catering business; coordinate sales efforts of Catering Sales Managers
Participate in business review meetings, pre-convention meetings, training, and related sales meetings
Develop customized site visit experiences to support business conversion
Plan, coordinate, and service all booked catering events
Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menus and packages
Partner with DOME on training and strategy development
Host or participate in local events to attract new business
Analyze sales performance and refine strategies accordingly
Work with Brand and Corporate teams on marketing opportunities
Execute sales agreements, oversee tastings, menu details, and billing
Research competitors to identify strengths and weaknesses
Maintain online presence with the Brand and PR team
Assist in budgeting and setting personal objectives for team members
Maximize revenue through effective space blocking and operational coordination
Ensure documentation and communication for operations
Forecast revenue and coordinate pre/post-convention meetings
Solicit client feedback and develop strategies for improvement
Partner with Financial Services for billing and credit processes
Attend relevant meetings and work on special projects as assigned
Your Experience Includes :
Minimum five years of catering sales experience in a full-service hotel
Certification such as CMP or CCEP preferred
Extensive knowledge of hotel support departments
Experience with Delphi, Social Tables, Property Management Systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with flexibility for weekends and holidays
Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 25 pounds
