Assistant Nurse Director / 40 Hours Day Shift / 10BCD Neuroscience Intermediate BWH The Assistant Nurse Director will be responsible for: Directing, planning, and coordinating the service activities and staffing performance of professional nursing and auxiliary nursing personnel in rendering quality patient care. May provide direct patient care. Ensuring the development, implementation, and evaluation of staff onboarding, training, and education. Providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback for staff. Ensuring a positive work environment that is safe for patients, visitors, and staff. Coordinating unit activities with other hospital departments. Developing and implementing staffing plans. Qualifications: Education - Bachelor's Degree Nursing required. Master's Degree Nursing preferred. Experience: Must have 6-8 years current Neuroscience Intermediate experience required. Nursing leadership experience 1-2 years (Nurse Manager, Nurse In Charge, Assistant ND) preferred. Assistant ND experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong commitment to clinical excellence. Ability to remain calm in stressful situations. Knowledgeable of the care required by respective age groups for which care is being provided.
