Highlands Health and Rehabilitation Center - Highlands Health and Rehabilitation Center is a 180-bed skilled nursing facility located in Memphis, TN.   We have an exciting opportunity as we are recruiting for an Assistant Director of Nursing . This position will work alongside a phenomenal Director of Nursing in leading the clinical team to success.
As the Assistant Director of Nursing you have the ability to positively impact the lives and overall health of the residents by overseeing the day to day patient care, supervising, directing and developing the nursing staff and working with the Director of Nursing to ensure quality patient care withing the facility. This is done with federal and state regulatory compliance while following policies and procedures. The Assistant Director of Nursing will lead the Infection Control team. This position is the point person and liaison between the residents and families while providing excellent follow up and customer service.
This is a full time position.

Job Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee (required)
2+ years of nursing experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
Leadership experience preferred (ADON, Unit Manager, etc.)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Passion for team-building and delivering person-centered care

Job Responsibilities may include:
Assist Director of Nursing with planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department
Support staff education, training, and development to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Help monitor resident care and participate in care conferences to promote quality outcomes
Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to nursing staff to foster teamwork and growth
Assist with staffing, scheduling and daily work flow to ensure adequate nursing coverage
Participate in quality assurance initiatives and infection control programs
