As an Account Director (Facility Management/Janitorial), reporting to the District Manager, you will provide full oversight of custodial services and leadership of our team of staff. In this client-facing role, you will be responsible for the successful execution of the project scope and delivering key company objectives, including managing profit and loss, human resources, operational excellence, and the health and safety of our employees. Your responsibilities will include: Understanding that client retention is a daily process through thoughtful action and attitude, utilizing the Tenacity Client for Life methodology. Ensuring a visible account-level presence to foster and maintain effective working relationships with all clients. Aligning key Dexterra contacts with similar positions within the client organization and creating a relationship matrix (Web of Influence). Communicating performance expectations, monitoring, and rewarding performance to ensure plans, goals, and budgets are met. Acting as a talent scout by using networks to identify, recruit, and vet potential Dexterra staff. Regularly reviewing succession plans and supporting career growth through personal development plans. Utilizing a strategic selling mindset and the Miller Heiman sales methodology and process. Awareness of technical elements needed to deliver support services. Ability to attract, develop, and retain employees, providing a safe and supportive work environment.
