Overview 2026 - Food Service Director - ROCKSTAR for SUMMER 2026 (Seasonal Relocation Job is not Local) at Wolfoods, Inc. This is a seasonal, on-site position requiring relocation. Lead staff live on site; room, board, and transportation expense assistance are provided. You will be living abroad on-site for the term of the contract and will be tasked with executing the Wolfoods Camp Food Service Program in a fast-paced environment. Wolfoods operates summer camp kitchens across the country between May and September. This is a hands-on and demanding role focused on service quality, culinary excellence, and camp dining operations. Responsibilities Perform all duties toward the goal of providing excellent guest service in an efficient manner Develop effective staff schedules based on business levels and budget guidelines Coordinate all side work for personnel and maintain cleanliness and organization in the Dining Hall Maintain appearance and uniform standards; be on the dining floor during meal periods to monitor operations Collaborate with the chef on duty to maintain high standards of food presentation and sanitation Train and develop all FOH dining personnel; provide ongoing feedback on standards and performance Communicate daily with Head Chef and Camp Directors about dining hall operations Interact with diners for feedback and ensure the dining hall is ready 15 minutes prior to service Implement a checklist system to facilitate daily dining hall operations Follow Wolfoods environmental initiatives to minimize waste and conserve energy Maintain knowledge of all menus and specifications; oversee dining hall standards Ensure compliance with safety practices and health department standards Manage payroll, attendance at meetings, and serve as primary liaison between camp and kitchen Lead in planning, scheduling, directing, and training; motivate staff to foster a positive work environment Attend related in-service trainings and staff meetings; communicate with campers, staff, and parents professionally Control inventory, place orders, and manage project-related responsibilities Uphold Wolfoods Standards of Service and Quality; ensure proper timing, quantity, quality, and plating Oversee special events, front of house supervision when necessary, and coordination with camp leadership Lead cross-utilization and production planning; manage equipment and safety regulations Maintain kitchen and equipment to health standards and handle special diet preparations Qualifications & Experience 4+ years commercial kitchen experience in a lead role Minimum three professional references required with application submission Proficient in relevant skills; quality driven with self-motivation High level computer literacy; able to lead a team and take direction Minimum 6-day work week (70 hours); must live on-site in a rural setting with possible shared living spaces Ability to stand for long periods; lift and carry 50 pounds; bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods ServSafe Manager Certification; ServSafe Allergens Certification before start of camp (company sponsored) Ability to work under pressure in variable temperatures; able to cook from scratch; experience with institutional and batch cooking (highly desired) Ideal Candidates Are Looking for seasonal, summer opportunities Enjoy high-volume production kitchens and dining facilities Embrace a teaching and learning culture Excited to be part of a team and community Willing to relocate for the summer season in a rustic living environment Employment Package Includes Competitive pay Bonus system Room and board Transportation Expense Assistance Seasonal summer contracts About Wolfoods, Inc.
