WSP is seeking an experienced Senior Hydraulic and Hydrology Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of related design engineering experience and demonstrate a willingness to collaborate, innovate, and lead a team.
Job Description Lead analysis and design of hydraulic structures such as dams, channels, culverts, spillways, and stormwater systems.
Oversee hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM).
Develop and review technical reports, designs, specifications, and permit drawings.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil engineers, environmental scientists, and urban planners.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
Ensure project compliance with regulations and standards.
Lead client or sector programs.
Conduct site visits for project assessment and quality control.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with Water Resources focus.
PE license required.
12+ years of hydraulic and hydrology engineering experience.
Certified Floodplain Manager.
