A growing healthcare organization is seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide services across multiple skilled nursing facilities in the LaGrange, GA area. Responsibilities: Manage and treat all wound care needs within assigned facilities, including cleaning and dressing wounds
Complete admission documentation as required
Provide guidance and support to residents and their families
Monitor residents’ conditions and administer medications and treatments
Document care services accurately in medical and departmental records
Adhere to infection control policies to ensure the safety of residents and staff
Address resident needs through collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
Maintain high standards of care in alignment with organizational protocols
Ensure confidentiality of resident information at all times
Track infection control data and outcomes
Prepare and submit regular reports, including monthly summaries
Qualifications: Active NP or PA license in the state of practice
Experience in long-term care preferred
Wound care and ostomy certification required
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Team-oriented with a positive and professional demeanor
