About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Wellness Director (RN or LPN) to join our supportive living community in the Chicago area. This leadership role is essential in ensuring the highest standards of resident care and wellness. The Wellness Director oversees nursing operations, leads clinical staff, and implements programs that promote both the physical and emotional well-being of residents. This position plays a key part in fostering a culture of quality, compliance, and compassion within the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring exceptional care and compliance with all state and federal regulations.

  • Develop and implement individualized care and wellness programs that support residents’ physical and emotional health.

  • Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing and caregiving staff.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create, review, and adjust resident care plans as needed.

  • Conduct regular health assessments and respond promptly to changes in residents’ conditions.

  • Foster a positive, resident-centered culture focused on safety, dignity, and respect.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in supportive living, or assisted living environments.

  • Certification in nursing administration, gerontology, or related specialty.

Skills and Attributes
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging residents, families, and healthcare partners.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess and respond to resident needs.
