Outcome HC - Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Director of Rehabilitation (Therapy) to lead and manage our multidisciplinary therapy teams across skilled nursing facilities. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the therapy departments, ensuring compliance with regulations, optimizing clinical outcomes, and driving operational efficiency while delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management
· Provide oversight and guidance to Directors of Rehabilitation (DORs) at each facility.
· Conduct on-site visits as needed to ensure operational and clinical standards are met.
· Review and assist with staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and productivity.
· Oversee the hiring, development, and performance management of therapy staff, guiding DORs in providing feedback, conducting reviews, and addressing performance concerns.
· Monitor departmental budgets and productivity metrics.
Rehabilitation Program Development
· Oversee the onboarding and operations of rehab departments at new facilities.
· Monitor clinical outcomes and uphold high standards of patient care.
· Collaborate with operational leadership and facility teams to enhance care coordination.
· Direct reporting to the operational leadership team.
Compliance and Documentation
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines.
· Participate in audits, reviews, and ongoing performance improvement initiatives.
· Analyze data to track program outcomes and implement necessary adjustments.
· Drive revenue growth by identifying and expanding service line opportunities.
Qualifications:
Education & Credentials
· Licensed Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in [state] or eligible for licensure.
· Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in a relevant therapy field.
Experience
· Minimum of 2 years of management or supervisory experience in a rehabilitation setting within skilled nursing care.
· Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement systems (PDPM) and therapy regulations.
Skills
· Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.
· Proven track record of fostering teamwork and mentoring staff.
· Proficiency in Net Health (Optima) system and data analysis.
