The Studio Lead oversees day-to-day operations of the creative studio, ensures efficient workflows, optimal resource allocation, and the production of high-quality content that aligns with client brand standards and strategic objectives. This role includes team leadership, mentoring a diverse group of creative professionals, maintaining studio infrastructure, and serving as the primary contact for clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Studio Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of studio operations, including scheduling, resource management, and workflow coordination to ensure timely project delivery.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of creative professionals, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional development.
Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure content meets client standards for brand consistency and excellence.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement new systems and practices to enhance efficiency.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals.
Talent Acquisition and Development: Recruit and develop talent, identify skill gaps, and implement training to enhance team capabilities.
Performance Monitoring: Establish and track KPIs to measure success of studio operations and projects, providing feedback and adjustments as needed.
Crisis Management: Develop contingency plans to address disruptions or challenges, ensuring project continuity.
Cultural Leadership: Cultivate a positive, inclusive studio culture that embraces diverse thinking and innovative problem-solving.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, gathering feedback to improve service quality.
Trend Monitoring: Stay informed about industry trends and competition, adapting strategies to maintain a leading edge.
What you need to be great in this role
5+ years of experience in a studio management or similar role within a creative, marketing, or advertising setting.
Proven ability to lead and inspire a creative team, fostering creativity and collaboration.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail for complex projects.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to articulate ideas and build relationships with stakeholders.
Familiarity with industry-standard creative tools and an aptitude for learning new technologies.
Ability to manage and adapt to change within the studio environment and evolving project requirements.
Capacity to envision long-term direction of the studio and align operations with business goals and industry trends.
Skill in handling interpersonal conflicts diplomatically and maintaining a productive atmosphere.
High emotional intelligence to manage emotions and support the team.
Eagerness to explore new ideas and technologies, encouraging experimentation in content creation.
Proficiency in building and maintaining relationships with industry contacts, vendors, and external partners.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail.
Salary note: The base salary is listed as $136,000.00 to $152,000.00, with compensation varying based on location, responsibility level, experience, and qualifications. This range is part of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
