About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President/Senior Director for Strategy and Growth in the Defense and Aerospace sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering mission-critical electronic solutions that protect lives, with a focus on taking electronic warfare, radar, and sensor products from concept to customer. This role demands a dynamic leader with a strong background in business development, management, or engineering, and a deep understanding of modern defense priorities and markets. Key responsibilities include executing a growth strategy, identifying and winning new opportunities, and leading a team to achieve business objectives. The role also involves broad executive engagement, both with the DoD and direct customers, and requires the ability to deliver on growth commitments and develop strategic plans.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in business or engineering, a minimum of 10 years' of relevant experience, and at least 5 years' in a senior leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the global electronic warfare, radar, and sensor markets, and experience with DoD planning and execution. A strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to foster customer relationships are essential. The role requires a US Person under export laws, with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. An MBA or advanced engineering degree, PMP certification, and a history of exceeding financial targets are highly valued. The candidate should be passionate about winning, with the ability to develop and mentor personnel, and a proven track record of effective leadership in a matrixed organization.
