About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP Director of Financial Reporting to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of essential functions, including the preparation of SEC filings such as Annual Proxy Statements, Forms 10-Q and 10-K, and Annual Reports to Shareholders. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, SEC reporting, and the ability to stay abreast of new regulations. The VP Director will also be involved in financial analysis, stock option exercises, and insider stock trading reports, as well as coordinating and facilitating various audit requests.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, with a CPA or equivalent designation preferred, and at least 5 years' of accounting experience. A background in banking, SEC reporting, and related accounting fields is strongly preferred. The role demands a high level of attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are essential, as is the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be proactive, and demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and excellent organizational and project management skills are also required.
