Facility: Woodhull Medical Center

Location: Brooklyn, NY 11206

Schedule: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM (10-hour flex shift)

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Weekly Breakdown:

Weekly Gross: $4,583.00 Per Week

On W2(Taxable): $2,280.00 Per Week

Stipend(Non-Taxable): $2,303.00 Per Week

Position Summary:The Nurse Supervisor (Assistant Director of Nursing – House Coverage) will be responsible for planning, developing, and overseeing programs aimed at improving patient care quality and nursing staff performance. The individual will assess unit operations in collaboration with Nurse Managers and support implementation of corrective actions when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement initiatives to improve patient care and nursing performance.

Collaborate with Nurse Managers to monitor unit performance and support corrective actions.

Develop and maintain systems for tracking medication errors and counseling records.

Provide leadership during night shifts and act as the primary point of contact for clinical operations.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and hospital standards.

Participate in staff development and education.

Required Qualifications:

License: Active RN License (Primary Source Verification required)

Education: BSN required; Master’s degree preferred

Experience:Minimum 7 years of nursing experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
