We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Managing Director to join our Transactional Advisory practice. This position is remote; most professionals are located within a commutable distance to an office. Remote work may require presence at a CohnReznick office for client work, team meetings, or trainings with scheduled notice.

Your Team

This position will support our Transactional Advisory group, providing a wide suite of services to clients. You will interact with team members across all levels within the practice.

Your Role

Responsibilities

• Act as a key player in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements from private equity and strategic corporate buyers
• Analyze historical financial statements and evaluate operational trends to identify sustainable earnings for various industries (manufacturing, distribution, hospitality, high-technology, healthcare)
• Coordinate with team and management regarding client expectations concerning project deliverables and deadlines
• Effectively write and communicate engagement reports and deliverables to client management
• Mentor and coach staff
• Be market facing, participate in firm events, and build relationships with prospects and referral sources to generate new business

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• CPA and other relevant professional certifications preferred
• Strong current knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, transaction advisory services, or mergers and acquisitions
• 12+ years of combined audit and transaction advisory experience within various industries
• Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to clients as required
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause determination skills
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Strong project management with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a team-oriented environment
• Action-oriented, decisive approach to work with a hands-on role to ensure deliverables are met on time and with high quality

Additional Information

In California, the salary range for a Managing Director is $200,000 to $350,000. This is part of the total rewards package including discretionary bonus and benefits. CohnReznick LLC and CohnReznick Advisory LLC practice in an alternative structure where applicable.
