We are currently seeking a dedicated Temporary Director of Social Services. Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and direct the overall operation of the Social Services Department. Ensure compliance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Meet the medically related emotional and social needs of residents on an individual basis. Collaborate with the Administrator/Assistant Administrator to maintain established policies and procedures. Requirements: Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language. Able to make independent decisions when necessary. Capable of tactfully interacting with personnel, residents, family members, and the public. Demonstrate patience, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm when working with residents of varying maturity levels. Eager to explore and implement new methods and principles in social services. Must be a member in good standing in relevant professional organizations. Experience in social work and possession of a relevant degree are essential.
