JOB SUMMARY
AllCom is seeking talented Telecommunications Technicians with a robust background in telecommunications infrastructure. Ideal candidates will have 3 to 5 years of practical experience in installing, terminating, and testing both copper and fiber optic cabling, including Cat 5. As a technician, you will be responsible for installing cabinets, equipment, and racking while engaging in various telecommunication projects. Collaboration with your team, supervised by a Project or Site Manager, is crucial, but you must also exhibit the ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Strong analytical and organizational skills are necessary for this role, along with the capability to read, understand, and follow design documents.
The position involves extensive travel to different project sites, providing opportunities for project-specific employment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Perform all necessary tasks for comprehensive system installation and testing based on project requirements.
Stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed for installation tasks.
Climb ladders and work on elevated platforms, up to 40 feet high.
Lift and carry loads weighing up to 50 pounds.
Execute general tasks as directed by Site Managers.

Job Knowledge and Skills
Familiarity with established concepts, practices, and procedures in the construction and telecommunications industry.
Ability to effectively plan and accomplish tasks based on sound judgment and experience.
Work under general supervision while assisting or guiding other technicians when necessary.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in telecommunications infrastructure installation is required.
BICSI Technician certification and additional relevant qualifications are a plus.
OSHA certification is also beneficial.
Education/Certification/Job Experience Required
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Candidates must pass pre-employment testing, including drug screening and background checks.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
Willingness to travel 100% of the time is essential for this role.
