What You Need to Know

Team Physician - Associate Medical Director Responsibilities The Team Physician - Associate Medical Director partners with the interdisciplinary care team and leads in Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) meetings to develop comprehensive care plans, anticipate patient needs, and ensure regulatory compliance. Participates in in-person and virtual visits as appropriate, documenting all visits to ensure patients access their benefits. Serves on a Call Coverage Rotation to address unanticipated needs and newly admitted patients. Acts as a leader within the care team, promoting education and awareness around end-of-life issues within the interdisciplinary team and the community.

Qualifications

Team Physician Qualifications: Maintains an active license and DEA registration in the state where care is provided.
