The Career Services Program Director plans, organizes, directs, and administers the program, providing supervision, training, assessment, and leadership for assigned staff. The director establishes the program's mission and strategic plan, evaluates program effectiveness, and oversees the introductory phase for new arrivals.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, analyze problems, and apply principles of conflict resolution. Strong analytical skills in evaluation of academic and vocational programs, policies, operations, and systems are required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning, organizing, directing, and administering the Career Services Program
  • Providing supervision, training, assessment, and leadership for assigned staff
  • Establishing the Career Services Program’s mission and strategic plan, objectives, goals, and evaluating program effectiveness
  • Overseeing the introductory phase in the program for new arrivals
  • Acting as Center Director in the absence of the same
  • Acting as trusted advisor to the Center Director and being a member of the senior leadership team

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, social services, or related field
  • Three years of related experience, with one year in a management capacity
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

The director will also have knowledge of management practices and principles, experience with Job Corps administration or similar programs, and proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
