Job Description:
The System Integrations Director will report to OneOncology’s Vice President, Strategic Operations.
Position Summary:
The System Integrations Director will drive new growth of OneOncology Service Line Expansion by supporting the integration of technical applications alongside new service lines and electronic medical record expansion. This role is responsible for ensuring that vendor software solutions have appropriate interfaces across a multi-vendor suite of applications to optimize and empower practice clinical staff in their daily workflows. This role will partner and collaborate with the OneOncology strategic operations team and information technology SMEs to support this goal. This position can be officed based in Nashville or remote work locations are acceptable if based near a major US airport.
Responsibilities:
Direct, lead, and manage the connectivity of all technical applications with respect to radiation, imaging, and lab service lines to develop and implement solutions and provide ground support during go lives Develop operational strategy and best practices for system integration efforts and clinical systems with ability to customize as needed Serve as a technical point of contact for vendors during integration projects Collaborate with systems engineering team on interface design and development Support EMR transitions Support practice integration go lives Collaborate cross functionally with Integrations, Service Lines, and Information Technology to smoothly transition systems from implementation to production to go-live to ensure system performance, system delivery and vendor accountability. Proactively assess integration process for potential problem areas and develop solutions as needed Work with Integrations and SLE Leaders to identify tasks, assign resources, and support project plans and checklists to successfully complete tasks to meet agreed upon deadlines. Clearly delineate task predecessors, critical path, and required resources to ensure smooth project progress Other duties as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.
Qualifications/Competencies:
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, healthcare industry highly preferred Ability to effectively manage shifting priorities and adapt to changing demands in a dynamic environment Must possess the ability to translate technical requirements and procedures into implementation solutions. Community oncology experience is required Working knowledge of OncoEMR Working knowledge of imaging vendors, PACS providers, and image sharing platforms Working knowledge of radiation oncology vendors, ROIS (Mosiaq/Aria) and supporting software applications. Experience with systems, clinical workflows, and interoperability to support Lab, Radiation Oncology, and Imaging operations. Requires strong analytical and communication skills (verbal/written/listening) to resolve complex issues impacting systems, end users, and workflows. Must be meticulous, own key tasks, manage moderately complex problems, require minimal direction and be able to work within a team setting.
