We’re looking for a visionary Director of Supply Chain to own and elevate all Production Planning, Warehousing, and Logistics functions at our pharmaceutical client’s North Carolina facility. This role is a cornerstone of our plant leadership team—responsible for delivering world-class service, ensuring cGMP compliance, and optimizing processes in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. You’ll be the driving force behind our SAP ERP strategy (WM and PP modules), enabling efficient inbound/outbound operations, flawless inventory control, and seamless transportation across our network. If you’re ready to lead high-impact initiatives and inspire a top-performing team, we want to talk. --- What You’ll Do · Strategize & Lead – Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with business objectives and customer expectations. · Optimize ERP – Manage SAP WM and PP modules to maximize plant-level efficiency. · Own the Numbers – Build and manage annual budgets, re-forecasts, and variance analysis. · Inspire Talent – Lead, mentor, and develop your team for peak performance. · Plan for Success – Oversee production planning to balance capacity, sales forecasts, and inventory targets. · Guarantee Availability – Ensure raw materials and finished goods are ready to keep operations moving. · Run the Warehouse – Direct workflows, shipping (parcel, LTL, TL), and materials delivery to production. · Control Inventory – Lead cycle counts, replenishment, and discrepancy resolution. · Drive Improvement – Identify and implement automation and process enhancements. · Ensure Compliance – Uphold cGMP standards and partner with ISO program representatives to meet HSE and Energy Management requirements. --- What You Bring · Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. · Experience: 10+ years in materials, warehouse, or distribution; 7+ years in leadership roles. · Industry: Pharmaceutical or other regulated manufacturing environment preferred. · Systems Expertise: Strong ERP knowledge (SAP highly preferred) with mastery in warehouse, labor, transportation, and production planning systems. · Functional Mastery: Deep knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and distribution best practices. · Skills: Proven leadership, strong decision-making, and strategic thinking. · Flexibility: Able to work any shift and be on call as needed. · Compliance Knowledge: Proficient in Good Warehouse Practices and supply chain regulations. --- Physical Demands · Sitting: Frequent (computer work, virtual meetings, planning) · Walking: Daily across warehouse and production areas · Standing: Less than 10% of workday · Lifting: Occasional, under 10% of day
