We’re looking for a Studio Director with 15+ years’ experience in architectural design. In this role, you will supervise and develop an architectural team for both public and private clients. You will coordinate the efforts of both in-house and outside teams who handle structural engineering, MEP design, civil and environmental engineering services. We’re looking for an enthusiastic go-getter who is just as comfortable managing the work as they are interfacing with clients and supervising a team of architectural professionals. About the Role: Manage studio budget and ensure projects stay within budget Recruit, train, develop, and celebrate the successes of the architectural studio team Act as an elevated point of contact for assigned clients Provide regular two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations Lead the local production teams in the development, planning and successful execution of projects Take ownership for quality execution of all projects undertaken by the team Continuously evolve workflow processes and improve studio efficiency Oversee operational budget for studio and overall studio performance Perform other duties as assigned Education and Qualifications 15+ years of architectural design experience Bachelor’s degree in architecture required; Master’s preferred Professional RA required Architecture enrollment in NCARB IDP preferred Extensive knowledge of architectural design; ability to manage and supervise staff Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit Ability to work and thrive in a team environment Knowledge of project specifications & CSI division formatting Excellent oral and written communication skills Salary — The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $165,000 annually. Note: The employment offer may deviate from this published range based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, specialty, knowledge, education, geography and/or related certifications.
