Posting Details (Default Section) Posting Number 9002000 Title Student Services Director- Dual Credit Position Type Full-Time Department Dual Credit Job Summary The Director of Dual Credit oversees the NCTC Dual Credit program including all initiatives that support the successful planning and implementation of the program. The Director works alongside instruction to implement courses necessary for dual credit student success, in addition to building and maintaining partnerships with ISD’s located within the four-county service area. Also, the Director of Dual Credit works to ensure that the team of Dual Credit Student Success Coaches have essential resources to carry out their duties and responsibilities of academic advising and registering students. Furthermore, this position serves as a liaison to confirm the dual credit program is working in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Lastly, this position works as part of a team within the institution to carry out commitments set forth by institutional administration.
Responsibilities and Duties: Oversees a comprehensive program including all initiatives that support the successful planning and implementation of the NCTC Dual Credit Program
Work with school’s district principals, counselors, and superintendents to evaluate needs and manage liaison projects in ISD’s where ISD staff are paid from NCTC funds.
Partner with NCTC departments to develop and implement the dual credit programing and instructional needs for all High Schools and ISDs.
Manage the planning of recruitment events, parent orientation nights, FAFSA nights, and registration events to broaden awareness of the NCTC Dual Credit program to recruit and retain students.
Create, plan, and manage the communication of the Dual Credit program with stakeholders, students, parents, and NCTC Dual Credit coordinators.
Oversee official appeals process for Dual Credit students’ participation in the Dual Credit program and assess various dual credit issues to determine resolution or referral to chair or dean
Creating and maintaining program reports used to measure effectiveness of the dual credit program and track yearly data.
Manage full time dual credit staff and ISD designated liaisons.
Manage student schedules which includes registering and processing add/drops/withdrawals
Coordinate meetings and manage communication with ISD Administration and NCTC Division Chairs to identify needs and demands for potential academic & CTE programs and identify requirements to implement.
Devise, inform and initiate communication of higher education Title IX policies and regulations for dual credit students and how they differ from ISD protocols
Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change based on the needs of the department and the institution. Required Education Master’s degree, preferably in education, counseling or related field Required Skills & Abilities Strong written and oral communication

Responsible for admissions and registration of dual credit students

Understanding of Title IX state and federal guidelines and how they apply to dual credit students
Ability to prioritize and multitask Preferred Skills & Abilities Required Experience Five (5) years of experience in administrative management, student support services, or related field required Preferred Experience Three (3) years Supervisory experience preferred
Previous program management experience preferred
Previous experience cultivating professional partnerships preferred
