The Store Director is the owner of the business, a FENDI Brand Ambassador, and a business leader responsible for the overall store performance. This role involves managing the store, employees, merchandise, and supporting activities to achieve store targets and ensure positive experiences for both internal and external clients.
Responsibilities:
Business Development and Performance Management:
Drive and improve sales performance for the entire business.
Analyze the business, propose, and implement action plans to improve results.
Develop a sales strategy, collaborating with corporate partners.
Identify new opportunities to attract and retain clients.
Organize events and incentives to grow the business.
Coordinate with the merchandising team to maintain appropriate stock and assortment levels.
Recommend store renovations and upgrades to increase sales and market share.
Be present on the sales floor, empower sales staff, and communicate goals effectively.
Partner with the Retail Events Office for local event organization.
Client Management:
Lead customer service to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Develop and maintain a loyal customer base using CRM tools.
Act as a brand ambassador, strengthening relationships with VIP clients and prospects.
Develop a private appointment culture.
Administrative & Operations Management:
Ensure alignment between front and back of house operations.
Complete administrative paperwork promptly.
Control daily invoices, petty cash, and manage costs efficiently.
Review and submit sales and operational reports as per KPIs.
Maintain inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and shrink requirements.
Optimize display and storage solutions.
Focus on best sellers and impactful displays, including window installations.
Team Management:
Build a positive team environment, set goals, monitor performance, and mentor staff.
Implement store initiatives and ensure team understanding.
Attract, recruit, and develop talent, assessing performance and growth potential.
Identify training needs and facilitate development opportunities.
Additional information:
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of proven experience, luxury retail preferred.
Strong results-driven mindset.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management.
RTW experience preferred.
Foreign language skills are advantageous.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Teamwork and organizational skills required.
Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
Strong digital literacy and organizational skills.
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
