Job Overview We’re seeking a dynamic, well-connected, and strategic Business Development professional to join our team in New York City. This role is ideal for a talent procurement expert who thrives at the intersection of culture, talent, and brand innovation—someone who understands talent procurement nuances and can connect top-tier talent with forward-thinking brands. The candidate will have a developed network, an eye for spotting opportunities, a passion for entertainment, and a proven ability to build meaningful partnerships that drive revenue and cultural impact. This is a hybrid role, based in our New York office or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs. What you’ll do: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with brands, agencies, and entertainment partners. Develop and maintain strong relationships with brand managers, CMOs, talent agents, and entertainment executives. Collaborate to create compelling pitch materials, proposals, and tailored activation strategies. Lead client discovery meetings to understand marketing goals and identify opportunities for talent-led campaigns. Manage the sales pipeline and CRM system, providing regular reporting on progress, forecasts, and conversion metrics. Represent the agency at key industry events, festivals, and networking functions to expand visibility and forge new connections. Stay ahead of entertainment, pop culture, and influencer trends to proactively suggest innovative partnerships and campaign opportunities. Coordinate with legal and finance teams to structure deals, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with all partnership terms. An adept multitasker who can fluidly switch contexts between different brands and project types—whether it's a brand platform, a social-first moment, or an award-season activation. What you should have: 10 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in entertainment, influencer marketing, or brand partnerships. Deep understanding of the entertainment industry ecosystem. Strong network of decision-makers at brands, agencies, and talent management firms. Proven track record of closing high-value deals and growing client accounts. Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to pitch complex ideas clearly. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-starter with a strategic mindset and entrepreneurial spirit. Pay Range: $140,000.00-$175,000.00 This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
