Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Pharmacist position is available within a healthcare system serving multiple pharmacy locations, including a large medical center, a hospital, and an infusion center. This role requires flexibility to float between the three sites, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care across diverse settings. Shifts will vary based on location and may include 8- and 10-hour shifts, swing shifts, every other weekend coverage, and holiday rotations.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately and efficiently across multiple pharmacy sites.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Manage hazardous medications, including compounding chemotherapy agents, following stringent safety protocols.
Utilize pharmacy information systems, with Cerner experience preferred; training will be provided if needed.
Adapt to varying workflows at the medical center, hospital, and infusion pharmacy.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Provide clinical support and counseling to patients when necessary.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Valid pharmacist license with the ability to practice in the state.
Experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy settings preferred.
Familiarity or willingness to learn the Cerner pharmacy system.
Comfort and experience working with hazardous drug handling and chemotherapy compounding.
Ability and willingness to travel between multiple pharmacy locations within the medical system.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Local candidates preferred to facilitate travel between sites.

Schedule/Hours:

Full-time
8-hour and 10-hour shifts depending on location
Swing shifts, every other weekend, and holiday coverage required
