Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Pharmacist position is available within a healthcare system serving multiple pharmacy locations, including a large medical center, a hospital, and an infusion center. This role requires flexibility to float between the three sites, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care across diverse settings. Shifts will vary based on location and may include 8- and 10-hour shifts, swing shifts, every other weekend coverage, and holiday rotations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently across multiple pharmacy sites.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Manage hazardous medications, including compounding chemotherapy agents, following stringent safety protocols.
  • Utilize pharmacy information systems, with Cerner experience preferred; training will be provided if needed.
  • Adapt to varying workflows at the medical center, hospital, and infusion pharmacy.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Provide clinical support and counseling to patients when necessary.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid pharmacist license with the ability to practice in the state.
  • Experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy settings preferred.
  • Familiarity or willingness to learn the Cerner pharmacy system.
  • Comfort and experience working with hazardous drug handling and chemotherapy compounding.
  • Ability and willingness to travel between multiple pharmacy locations within the medical system.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Local candidates preferred to facilitate travel between sites.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time
  • 8-hour and 10-hour shifts depending on location
  • Swing shifts, every other weekend, and holiday coverage required
