We seek passionate engineers, technologists, and business leaders to join us. Job Summary: The Sr. Sales Director is responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for Supermicro. This includes planning and implementing initiatives to expand into new markets and customer segments, leveraging our channels and strategic partnerships. The role involves strategic planning and execution to generate revenue and requires strong cross-functional collaboration across all organizational levels. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to acquire and retain customer accounts. Identify, qualify, develop, and close sales with government agencies, data centers, cloud providers, gaming, and HPC industries. Conduct outbound calls to potential system integrators, VARs, and OEM customers. Identify opportunities for senior management to engage with high-level executives and generate revenue. Build a pipeline of short-term and long-term opportunities in targeted vertical markets. Monitor inventory, negotiate pricing, process orders, address credit issues, and manage returns. Travel to customer sites to present Supermicro products and maintain account relationships. Supervise and coach sales team members, providing training, performance management, and work direction. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred. 10+ years of technology sales experience, with a focus on mid-market and enterprise accounts, including resell partners. Results-driven with a strong work ethic. Excellent communication skills, executive presence, and sound judgment. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Self-motivated and proactive. Proficiency in English; knowledge of a second language is a plus. Willingness to travel up to 15% or as needed. Salary Range $185,000 - $260,000. Compensation depends on factors such as location, experience, education, and skills. Benefits include comprehensive packages, bonuses, and equity opportunities.
