The role requires deep technical expertise, strategic foresight, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, complex business environment.**Employee Type:**Full time**Location:**IL Oak Brook**Job Type:**Finance Treasury**Job Posting Title:**Sr Director, Tax & Treasury**Job Description:****Schedule:** Remote Monday and Friday; In office Tuesday to Thursday**Work Location:** 2015 Spring Road Suite 400, Oak Brook, IL 60523 **Benefits:** Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with match, STD/LTD/AD&D/Life, HSA, FSA, EAP, Hospital indemnity, Accident Insurance, Identity and Fraud Protection Plan, Legal, and Critical Illness.**Salary, based on experience and other qualifications:** $169k to $296k Annually with additional bonus potential**Roles & Responsibilities:*** Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize the company’s tax position across domestic and international operations.* Advise senior management on tax implications of key business decisions, including acquisitions, divestitures and other corporate transactions.* Identify and secure tax incentives and credits applicable to the company’s activities.* Oversee tax accounting and reporting in accordance with relevant accounting standards (E.g. ASC 740 for US GAAP and IAS 12 for IFRS)* Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and filing of all federal, state, local, and international tax returns. (E.g. corporate income tax, VAT, Transfer Pricing)* Manage and maintain the company’s tax governance and risk management framework.* Represent the company during tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.* Manage and negotiate with tax authorities and external advisors to resolve tax controversies.* Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments. Communicate the relevant updates and their implications to senior management.* Develop and execute global cash management and liquidity strategies to optimize working capital and minimize cost of capital* Oversee global banking relationships, cash pooling, FX risk, and debt management* Lead, mentor, and coach the tax and treasury departments, fostering a collaborative and high-performing teams* Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A Legal, and local finance teams to support cross-functional initiatives*The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list of all tasks.
