Job Summary: The Sr. Director of Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) will be a key leadership role reporting directly to the VP of Supply Chain. They will work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, finance, and operations to achieve business objectives. This role involves building and implementing a world-class Sales and Operations Planning process for the WSS (Water Solutions and Services) segment to improve customer satisfaction, profitability, inventory turns, lead times, and working capital. Core functions include strategic and tactical decision-making related to demand and supply balancing; aligning volume and mix with capacity and capability; and integrating financial and operational plans to deliver improved results. Key Responsibilities: Lead monthly SIOP cadence to facilitate decisions around optimizing supply and demand balance. Manage the aggregation of the demand plan process across product categories, producing a rolling 12-18 month estimate of unconstrained future demand in dollars and units. Conduct rough cut capacity and scenario planning to validate data and facilitate decision-making. Develop, monitor, and revise production and sourcing plans to optimize resource use while meeting customer needs. Achieve customer service order fulfillment objectives while maintaining targeted inventory levels. Develop metrics, tools, and reports to enable manufacturing and procurement teams to meet service and inventory goals. Collaborate with Sales and Product Development on planning/executing product activation and lifecycle phases. Evaluate inventory reports to identify slow-moving and obsolete inventories, collaborating on disposition plans. Track performance metrics to identify opportunities and issues within SIOP processes; provide insights for improvements. Work with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution to evaluate demand against capacity and create mitigation plans. Identify and escalate significant business risks. Implement supply chain initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs and waste, and apply lean principles. Support and coach plant-level buyers and production planners. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics; Master’s preferred. Minimum 10 years in supply chain management, with focus on SIOP and inventory optimization. Experience in Service Network optimization preferred. Proven success in leading SIOP process implementation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in SIOP software and tools.
