The Senior Director of Program Operations Excellence is responsible for understanding and executing the Mission Division strategies and annual operating plan (AOP). This person will also be responsible for aligning the Division/BU strategies with the manufacturing center of excellence roadmaps and ensure successful execution of all programs throughout their lifecycle. This includes goal setting, career counseling, compensation planning and employee training and development, ensuring achievement of diversity within the organization. This person will frequently interact with program leaders, engineering, finance, quality, supply chain and manufacturing to achieve the goals and objectives of the organization.

The preferred candidate must be capable of working beyond the typical 40 hour work week, travel domestically and internationally to support our global sites. Job Responsibility: AOP planning and execution Define program 5 year roadmap and ensure communication with factories and execution team Proposal strategy development for build plans and execution deliverables Support contract negotiations where applicable for execution content Maintain firm and non firm sales loads Program make/buy/where process coordination Monitoring program budgets and resources, ensuring financial sustainability of programs, and taking corrective action when necessary Analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement in existing processes Collaborating with other departments to ensure cross-functional communication, coordination, and alignment on program goals Ensuring that all program activities comply with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, and identifying areas for improvement Measuring and reporting on program impact and effectiveness, and using data analysis to continuously improve program performance Building relationships with external stakeholders, including donors, partners, and other organizations, to leverage support for programs and advance program goals Engage with senior management to provide regular updates on program operations and seek guidance on strategic direction and goals Required Qualification: A minimum of 14 years of demonstrated successful experience working within a manufacturing business with a minimum of 8 years of manufacturing and/or program management experience Experience with the financial impact of decisions on the organization budget and the division/program Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree preferred Strong leadership and demonstrated experience developing leaders across the organization through active real time coaching Has advance knowledge of program and project management principals, practices and tools Ability to think strategically, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects and deadlines Experience with estimate of completion and lean application "This position requires the ability to obtain a government security clearance.
