In this role, you will demonstrate proficiency in five key areas, guided by Capital One's Product Framework: Human Centered, Business Focused, Technology Driven, Integrated Problem Solving, and Transformational Leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Own product strategy/definition, vendor management, and feature deployment for the end‑to‑end associate experience used by thousands of marketers at Capital One.
  • Develop enterprise strategy in partnership with lines of business for evolution of tools, capabilities and processes to accelerate marketing campaign creation and execution.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the Messaging and MarTech stack, identifying opportunities for innovation, modernization, and simplification.
  • Drive alignment with executive leadership, cross‑functional teams across the company and third parties.
  • Establish a long‑term product portfolio strategy informed by customer and business needs; secure resources and overcome impediments with leaders and stakeholders.
  • Attract, grow, empower, and inspire product talent to deliver on local product strategy in an iterative, outcome‑focused and well‑managed way.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 9 years of experience in Product Management.
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, one of the following with the expectation that the degree will be obtained by the start date:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields)
  • Master’s Degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Experience in Marketing or Marketing Technology.
  • MBA or Master’s degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Agile product management.
