We’re looking for a Senior Director of Product to lead our End-to-End Experience team — a cross-functional group focused on making the customer journey seamless across every interaction, channel, and product surface. This is a rare opportunity to shape how millions of users discover and engage with their family history through cohesive, intuitive, and deeply meaningful experiences.
You’ll report to the VP of Product and work closely with peers across product, design, engineering, research, content, marketing, and customer support. Your job is to ensure every step of the customer journey — from onboarding and discovery to upgrades and long-term engagement — feels thoughtfully connected and optimized.
Ancestry serves millions of customers globally. Your leadership will help unify our ecosystem of products into a seamless experience that builds trust, reinforces value, and empowers people to explore their identities and family stories.
You’ll join a highly collaborative environment that values curiosity, clarity, and a deep commitment to customer understanding. We offer a flexible, hybrid culture with a strong focus on work/life balance — so you can grow your career while staying grounded in what matters most.
What You’ll Do
Lead the strategy, vision, and execution for the End-to-End Experience product team, ensuring cohesion across the full customer journey.
Partner across product areas and functions to eliminate friction, fill gaps, and ensure customers experience Ancestry as a connected, purpose-driven platform.
Identify and prioritize key moments in the user journey that drive trust, retention, and discovery — and improve them through thoughtful product design and iteration.
Define and drive a roadmap that spans organizational boundaries, including onboarding, navigation, content discovery, upgrades, and long-term engagement.
Collaborate closely with UX, engineering, data, marketing, and customer support to ensure every touchpoint is aligned and intentional.
Use research and data to uncover pain points and opportunities in the customer journey, and guide cross-functional teams toward solutions.
Evangelize the customer journey internally — bringing a user-first lens to cross-org decision making and fostering a culture of customer empathy.
Coach and mentor a team of product managers, helping them grow as strategic thinkers and impactful operators.
Who You Are..
10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years in product leadership roles.
Proven ability to define and deliver cross-functional product strategies that span multiple teams and touchpoints.
Deep understanding of end-to-end customer journey mapping and experience design.
Experience leading teams focused on onboarding, lifecycle, navigation, and engagement.
Skilled at working through ambiguity and driving clarity across complex systems.
Strong communicator and influencer who can align diverse stakeholders around a shared vision.
Passionate about creating connected, high-trust experiences that put the user first.
Bonus: Background in consumer subscription products, digital ecosystems, or identity-driven experiences.
