Summary:
The Director/Senior Director of Project Delivery will lead teams responsible for the construction and delivery of wireless infrastructure. This role is accountable for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in project management, construction estimation, vendor management, and data-driven project oversight. This leader will thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and will be a key contributor to the organizations strategic growth and operational excellence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Leadership & Execution
Lead and manage teams responsible for the end-to-end delivery of wireless infrastructure projects, including new cell tower builds.
Ensure all projects are delivered on schedule and within or below budget, while meeting quality and compliance standards.
Oversee construction timelines, permitting, and milestone tracking to ensure alignment with company KPIs.
Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and methodologies.
Construction Estimation & Cost Management
Develop and review construction estimates, budgets, and forecasts.
Analyze cost data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for savings.
Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project financials.
Vendor Management & Negotiation
Manage relationships with third-party vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
Lead negotiations for Master Service Agreements (MSAs), pricing, and service-level expectations.
Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations and quality standards.
Data Analysis & Executive Reporting
Implement and manage systems to track project progress, risks, and performance metrics.
Analyze data to generate actionable insights and present findings to senior leadership.
Prepare executive-level reports and dashboards to communicate project health and strategic alignment.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 10 years of experience in wireless infrastructure project delivery, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects, including cell tower builds.
Strong understanding of construction estimation, budgeting, and cost control.
Demonstrated success in vendor management and contract negotiation.
Proficiency in project management tools and data analytics platforms.
Bachelors degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related field required.
PMP certification strongly preferred.
