Role Overview
Arine is expanding its sales organization with the addition of an experienced Sr. Director Client Strategy. This role is an opportunity to join a small team of experts dedicated to making a huge impact with a best‑in‑class software solution.
Responsibilities
- Become an expert on Arine’s platform and value proposition in the first 3 months
- Own the expansion sales process building pipeline from prospecting to final contracting for assigned client accounts in coordination with the SVP Client Growth & Strategy
- Consultative approach to convert customer vision into actionable account strategies, closing multi‑year contracts for 5 expansion upsell/cross‑sell opportunities in the first 12 months
- Identify big innovative ideas to solve issues that provide long‑term value to clients
- Develop and cultivate strong relationships with leadership at health plans, provider organizations, and PBMs and assess market opportunities to prioritize potential customers
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in sales leadership with a proven track record of execution, innovation, and passion for growth in the healthcare industry, preferably with health plans (bonus for medication management/pharmacy quality/healthcare cost savings experience)
- Ability to write contracts, respond to RFPs, and assist with sales material creation
- Record of success in exceeding quota within a hyper‑growth technology organization
- Strong knowledge of health plans and risk‑bearing provider industry segments including top and bottom‑line performance improvement levers
- Experience building pipeline – identifying, prospecting, and executing large, enterprise deals, and managing long‑term client partnerships
- Exceptional communication skills and demonstrated ability to negotiate complex contracts with executive‑level client stakeholders
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (remote work requirements below)
- Ability to flex working hours to cover national territory across all U.S. time zones
Travel & Remote Work
- Travel up to 40% (20‑40% as noted)
- Remote work – required to attend on‑site meetings multiple times per year; role is remote but on‑site meetings are expected
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $160,000–$190,000 per year. This range represents the expected salary and does not include potential other components of the compensation package (commission, equity, benefits, and perks). Ultimately, the final pay decision will consider factors such as experience, job level, location, and other relevant criteria.
