SkyWater is seeking a highly experienced, strategic Senior Director of Product Management & Business Development for the Advanced Packaging Business Unit. This key role will report to the Sr VP and GM of advanced packaging and will lead the definition, positioning, and market adoption of our innovative packaging solutions. Responsibilities include managing the product lifecycle, collaborating with engineering, R&D, and sales to deliver next-generation advanced packaging technologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the semiconductor industry, packaging technologies, and a proven track record of driving product strategies from concept to commercialization. Major Responsibilities: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape; create strategies to differentiate offerings and increase market share. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps aligned with market needs and company goals. Define and deliver market requirements for advanced packaging technology platforms. Perform pricing analysis to enable go-to-market strategies. Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners, identifying growth opportunities. Negotiate and close high-value partnerships and licensing agreements. Own the business case for strategic engagements and manage the full customer engagement cycle. Drive revenue growth through go-to-market strategies for new and existing products. Create marketing collateral and contribute articles to promote products. Support branding, thought leadership, and event content creation. Define design win targets and develop plans to achieve them. Set priorities for market pursuits with input from senior leadership and technical teams. Partner with sales on lead generation and revenue conversion strategies. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or related field. 10+ years in product management, marketing, business development, or sales in the semiconductor industry. Strong understanding of advanced packaging technologies and semiconductor fabrication processes. Knowledge of defense microelectronics market dynamics. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong business acumen with experience in P&L management and financial analysis. Proven success in product launches and revenue generation. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Additional Requirements: U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance eligibility. Travel up to 10-30%. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or MBA. Contacts within the defense microelectronics ecosystem. Experience in manufacturing or technology services. Active security clearance preferred. The annual salary range is $187,360 - $281,040, commensurate with experience.
